Material and care
Regarding maintenance, you should first know that MAC ALYSTER leathers are already treated and do not require any particular protection. However, it is necessary to take care of them to fight against stains, drying out, and cracks.
For regular maintenance, lightly wipe the leather with a damp cloth with a few drops of dish soap, mild soap, or Marseille soap. After drying your bag with a clean towel, soak a cotton pad with makeup remover or moisturizing cream and gently rub in circular motions over the entire surface of the leather.
For a deeper clean, thoroughly soak the makeup remover on the cotton pad, then add a few drops of white vinegar. Then, use a cotton pad soaked in nourishing moisturizing cream to rub over the leather. Finish by polishing the leather with a soft rolled cloth or a cotton ball.
Leather is a delicate material, do not rub it too much, and avoid chemical products as much as possible for cleaning.
